Polarity Therapy is helpful to everyone who wishes to improve his or her experience of health and well being. Polarity Therapy is a system of gentle hand contacts supported by exercise, diet, and counseling to discover energy blockages and release energy to normal flow patterns. During a session energy is released in specific areas, similar to unblocking a water pipe filled with leaves. Once the flow is resored, the body's own healing properties become more effective.

Profile and Credentials

I am an Associate Polarity Practitioner, Physical Therapist, and author of Energy SourceBook - The Fundamentals of Personal Energy (Llewellyn, 2004). I have had over twenty years of experience in traditional medicine as a physical therapist, including ten years teaching at the Medical College of Georgia, and earned by EdD in Audlt Education at the University of Georgia. I have been acrive for sixteen years in complementary and alternative medicine, teaching meditation and stress reduction techniques, practicing polarity therapy, and providing CEU workshops for Nurses, Physical Therapists, and Massage Therapists.

Philosophy and Comments

I believe that energy is the basis of life and that energy is easily changed by spiritual, mental, emotional and physical means. Polarity Therapy is just one of many energy modalities which allows individuals to discover a new paradigm of healing. Instead of being locked into a disease, the word can be redefined as dis-ease. And dis-ease can change into ease and well being. I am grateful to find a tool such as Polarity Therapy to assist others in making these changes possible.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule

1 to 1 and 1/2 hour sessions are scheuled by appointment Thursdays, Fridays & Mondays and include an AuraVideo computer biofeedback "photo" of the client's energy patterns before and after Polarity. The sessions are $50.00 and are held at Mountain Valley Center in Otto, NC. Otto is in Western North Carolina, 3 miles from the Georgia State Line and Dillard, Georgia. The location is 1 and 1/2 hours from Asheville and 2 hours from Atlanta. A public Labyrinth Park is provided free of charge to facilitate the self-healing initiated during Polarity Therapy

Charlie and I designed a 7 circuit outdoor labyrinth in 1998. Nestled between creeks, ponds, springs,and old growth mountain laurel, the park is open daily dawn to dusk. Dr. Jill Henry is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider for Massage Therapists & Bodyworkers, by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) for Nursing professionals, and by PTAG for Physical Therapists.
