Profile and Credentials
Barbara Z. Banks has been a healing professional for 30 years. Working extensively with the disabled and elderly, she also has ample experience with infants, children and athletes. A graduate of (and former teacher at) the Academy of Somatic Healings Arts in Norcross GA, Barbara is certified in Swedish massage, NMT (deep tissue) and Sports massage as well as pregnancy massage, infant massage and MotherCare. She was certified in pregancy massage by "Nurturing the Mother" creator, Claire Marie Miller, LMT, NCBTMB, developer of the program.
Now offering Australian Bowen Therapy, a gentle, soothing method of releasing old pain patterns and easing discomfort by encouraging the body to heal itself.

One hour massage = $70
90 minutes = $100
30 minutes = $45

Bowen Sessions are $50 regardless of length (usually 45-75 minutes).

PAIN RELIEF
With Barbara's extensive medical experience and training in physiology and anatomy, she can help you understand why you are in pain and how your body can heal itself. Her structural analysis, stretching and massage techniques have helped many overcome years of pain from sciatica, kyphosis, chronic headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome and TMJ (clicking jaw) syndrome. BOWEN THERAPY
Amazingly, there are still very few Bowen practioners in the US, while it has caught on like wildfire in Europe and its native Australia. This proven pain relief technique continues to surprise and delight us with astonishing results. Bowen Technique is light, painless and can be done through light clothing. Treatments last between 30 - 75 minutes, depending on the problems being addressed. Recommended for auto-immune disorders, scoliosis, whiplash, recent or chronic pain from injury, sleeplessness, migraines, inability to concentrate, and MUCH, MUCH MORE.
Corporate (or personal) Chair Masage
Have chair, will travel. Barbara is available by the hour or by the day to provide soothing chair massage at your workplace, party, sporting event or anywhere else where people are gathered and need a relaxing break. Increase productivity, alleviate stress and clear your head!
