Totally self contained, very green and lush. Greeted daily by native birds, curly tailed lizards and reef fish if you happen to fall off the dock!

The view every morning was spectacular! You will love the sleeping accommodations! The entire cottage and grounds are absolutely charming and romantic! The bathroom is a unique and very special building, very close, very clean, flush toilet. You will absolutely love the enchanting garden shower amongst hanging native plants evoking visions of a tropical waterfall. This adventure is best suited to travelers who appreciate ecology, untouched underwater beauty and a wholesome pioneer outdoor experience in the tropics.

The Abacos in the Bahamas is a little known treasure. Within 200 miles of Miami or a 60 minute flight you will be greeted by friendly people, native seafood, local fruits and veggies, culture is English speaking and very quiet, family oriented.

Moonrise has hosted small weddings on the beach with our local minister, Mr. Vernon Malone. The cottage is an ideal honeymoon getaway, no disturbing telephones, t.v.s, a huge library with conscious living titles, a guitar, a telescope for stargazing and the calming rhythm of waves meeting the shoreline and the whisper of winds through the palms.
