Our founder Myra Reichel is a Usui & Karuna ReikiŪ and Magnified Healing Practitioner and Instructor. Myra Reichel is a dedicated Reiki Teacher having taught over 150 students how to access Reiki, Universal Healing Energy, for themselves and others. She is the founder of the Reiki Healing Center in Media and was a co-founder of the Natural Healing Arts, now located in Newtown Square, PA. She became a Registered Karuna ReikiŪ Master studying with William Lee Rand in May of 2005. Myra became a Reiki Master in February 2004, after completing her Reiki Level I Attunement in 1998, her Reiki Level II in 1999, her Advanced Practice in 2000, and her Karuna Reiki Practitioner Levels I and II in 2001 from Marion Yaglinski,R.N. Family and friends are very important to Myra. She believes that natural healing can be cultivated through loving connectings with others. The healing power of community is very powerful, and also is the foundation for the Reiki Healing Center. The RHC is a genuine extension of Myra's personal philosophy.
The RHC is open seven days a week. In addition to classes there are membership plans available that allow students and new practitioners to have full access to the center 24 hrs a day. Those who are members can give sessions to their friends, family, and clients anytime. Training to become a teacher in Usui and Karuna ReikiŪ is available as well as for Magnified Healing. There are many ways that the center is beneficial for education about healing practices.
Also and artist, Myra wove tapestry as a student of The University of Arts (then called the Philadelphia College of Art) from 1969-1971 majoring in Fibers. Myra had a 25 year career as a weaver exhibiting her work accross the U.S.A. and in Austrailia. She has tapestries available from her Law of Three, Primitive FLower, and Night Tales Series and still weaves commisioned tapestries. Her Law of Three Series - Trinagles I - VI and Trinity tapestries explore the spiritual connection with God as Holy Afirming, Denying, and Reconciling Forces - know as The Holy Trinity - God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Her Night Tales Series depicts dream scenes damnced by Zero Moving Company in the 1980's and her Primitive Flower Series depicts a new world of Myra's own imagination.
