Living with intention means that the fabric of your life is woven from the threads of your own conscious choices. Each thread reflects the level of your awareness at the moment of choice. We are all choosing in every moment whether we realize it or not. Once we become aware of this, we can choose consciously and live intentionally.



For example, a math student often does not realize that the grade is a choice. The conscious intention to earn an ‘A’ brings with it all manner of supportive behaviors from focus to test preparation, to completion of assignments, to organization. These behaviors bring clarity and confidence which make a grade of ‘A’ a possibility.

In addition to my degree in psychology, I graduated in 2004 from of A Society of Souls (ASOS) 3-year training in INTEGRATED KABBALISTIC HEALING (IKH) and then completed the ASOS Graduate-level training/advanced IKH healings, in 2005.



I have several years successful experience facilitating personal development work with both private clients and groups.

For several years I taught Meditation classes in Occoquan, VA.

I taught math in public schools in Co, IN, OH, and VA for 23 years and for the last 11 years have been a private math tutor for students in elementary math through pre-calculus.

Personal Development Sessions are available in group settings and individually. Individual sessions can be held in person or on the telephone. The advantages of distance sessions are the savings in time and travel.

Personal development work provides a place where you can learn what to do with difficult emotions such as anger, stress, guilt, worry, shame. It helps you ride the waves of transition or loss and to deal with the issues that surface during these difficult times. It teaches you how to create fulfilling relationships, beginning with your relationship to yourself.

The work enables you to make conscious choices that are in your best interest and to care for yourself well; in other words, to live an intentional life.

Below are benefits I have found in working in a group, privately, and doing both.

Benefits of working in a group

This is one of my favorite ways to work because I love the sense of community provided by a group. I find that group members collectively contribute ideas, insights, and solutions that are very rich and useful. Surprising realizations surface as individuals share their experiences. It is a safe place for people to learn to be themselves with others and to become more conscious.

The cost is lower than that of private work.

Benefits of working privately

In private sessions you may talk about anything you want to a person who is actually listening to just you. What a luxury. Very personal issues may be shared and individual help received. At the end of the session you get to relax on a table while receiving a healing, which is a wonderful experience.

If the weather is bad or the distance too far, this work can be done over the telephone.



Benefits of combining group and private work

In this combination you have friends who are in the same boat with you and your own private place to work on more personal issues. Group work often brings up issues that require individual work. I find both methods to be indispensable and that they work together very well.

Kabbalistic Healing is not easy to describe, even after 4 years of school. Luckily you do not have to understand it to greatly benefit from working with an IKH healer.

IKH is a profound holistic healing modality, which is based in both psychology and spirituality. It results in inner transformation that shows up first as a healed relationship to oneself. Then other relationships begin to heal: relationships to other people, to one’s work, to the divine.

The healings are based on the Tree of Life, a map of our psyche, which contains the essential qualities that we all possess.
