Dr. Bonita Ann Palmer,MD,MFT,DASD,MDiv is a private practitioner of Jungian Psychotherapy and Spiritual Direction, and serves as Executive Director of the Formation for Healing Ministry Program, a two-year training program for mainstream ministers of religious healing. She is also a Consultant for Complementary Care for hospitalized patients at St. Luke's Hospital, San Francisco providing Reiki Touch Therapy and Guided Imagery for self-healing. She works especially with artists, healers, and spiritual seekers.

Education and Training:

Vassar College AB (Cum Laude; University of Vermont College of Medicine MD; Family and Community Medicine training, San Francisco General Hospital; California Institute of Integral Studies MA, Integral Counseling Psychology; Licensed Marriage adn Family Therapist; Certified in Clinical Interactive Guided Imagery, Academy for Guided Imagery; Certified in Spiritual Emergence Syndromes with the Spiritual Emergence Network; Clairvoyant Counseling Training at Psychic Horizons, SF; Reiki II Practitioner; Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary; MDiv from Church Divinity School of the Pacific (Episcopal). She is a Clinical Instructor in the UCSF Department of Family and Community Medicine, and teaching "Renewing the Ministry of Healing" during the Graduate Theological Union Summer Session.

Monday-Friday appointment times are flexible.

$125 per 50 minute hour. PPO insurance, Medicare, MediCal accepted for psyhotherapy, and guided imagery.
