Holistic Atorney, Counselor at Law & Mediator
Description
A caring professional for difficult times.
People come to see me at one of the worst times of their lives.
No one ever calls me when their lives are going smooth and easy!
100% family law practice in Harris and Fort Bend Counties, Texas.
Since I believe that education is empowering, I offer a free phone consultation for people in Harris County or Fort Bend counties.
If you live outside Harris or Fort Bend counties, if you email me, I'll refer you to an attorney that I'd personally use in your county.
If you have a legal issue outside of the family law area, I'd be glad to refer you to someone that I personally know and respect.
I've been trained in mediation as well as collaborative law.
Vist my website to learn more about me and my philosphy.
Even though you are no longer going to be together, you will be co-parenting your children for the rest of your lives.
My office offers a sliding fee scale and an initial deposit of approximately $1,500 (includes filing fees and service fees) in order to make quality legal services available to more people.
We do NOT flat-rate cases. After 15 years, I've handled many family law cases, but no two have ever been exactly alike.
We offer individualized services. I address the physical, spiritual, psychological, and emotional needs of my clients and their children.
Whether you are 10, 20, 30 or even 40, when your parents divorce, it is tough on their children.
We offer evening appointments.
I offer a Do It Yourself Divorce kit designed for Harris County, Texas for people with no children (approximately $200 cash) or with children but no assets (other than vehicles) and no debts (approximately $500 cash). Then you pay the filing fee to Harris County directly (approximately $250-$300).

I am an active volunteer for family law mediator at the Dispute Resolution Center.
I also do private mediations for approximately $250 per side for a 4-hour mediation.
I've ended 2 marriages in the Family Courts of Harris County, Texas. Even though I was an attorney, I hired someone to represent me in both cases since I was too close to the case to be logical.
My ex-husband and I never follow the child visitation schedule for our child. Even though our child is over 18, we still communicate on a regular basis. When our child turned 18 and graduated from high school, she thanked us for parenting her together and never putting her in the middle.
My parents divorced after a 42 year marriage, it was very difficult for my sister and I even though we were both adults with small children.
