MARY ELIZABETH RAINES, who is the Director of the Academy for Professional Hypnosis Training, has been an adjunct faculty member and instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists for over eight years, and has also conducted workshops and seminars for the American Board of Hypnotherapy, International Hypnosis Federation and MidAmerica Hypnosis Convention.

She is the creator and teacher of the first Guided Imagery Certification course ever offered by the National Guild of Hypnotists at their summer institute
Raines, who has been hypnotizing people since she was 14 years old, is author of the inspirational Laughing Cherub Self-improvement CD series. She has extensive training in alternative healing modalities.
In addition to Ms. Raines' work with private clients in her clinical hypnotherapy practices in California and Wisconsin, she is a dynamic workshop leader and lecturer.
