Holistic Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. 200 hour registered program.
Learn the most classic system of yoga. A holistic,integrative approach encompassing all facets of the human experience. Upon completing this course you will possess the knowledge and skills to provide a safe, effective, and highly inspiring course of yoga practice to groups and private clients utilizing a wide variety of teaching methods. Special emphasis is placed on yogic lifestyle and the eight limbs of yoga.

Health in Motion has been providing professional training and certifications for over ten years in the fields of natural fitness, personal training, pilates, and yoga. Throughout all of these courses we have been proud to share the philosophy of yoga in a way that is user-friendly, and easy to understand. It has been a pleasure to help people comprehend the connections and correlations between western and eastern sciences, philosophies, and methods of teaching healthy lifestyles.

Philosophy, Ethics & Lifestyle:
Through the practice of journaling, sharing, and creative expression we will truly embark on the practice of svadhyaya (self-study), yamas (interactions with our community and the world) and niyamas (personal discipline). Participants will adapt a yogic lifestyle at their own pace and in their own unique way through gradual introductions of options, and self-directed paths of interest.

Tuition Fee is $2,000.00. Payment plans available. Sliding scale available based on need. Includes books, manual, meals and certification.
Pilates Yoga Certification Course
In this Professional Level Training you will learn:
ľComprehensive postural /Health analysis and the means to provide an individual with specific exercises to improve flexibility, strength, circulation and alignment.
ľThe 15 fundamental Pilates/Yoga exercises that provide therapeutic release, realignment, and improved mobility to the pelvis, spine and shoulders.
ľThe complete Total Body class format for a Pilates/Yoga class that you may present to groups and individuals with modifications for specific concerns.
ƒæA unique teaching method that utilizes the ¡§Tell-Show-Do¡¨ model and includes verbal/ physical cues and gentle assists.
ľChakra- power breathing exercises that enhance control, awareness and well-being of the muscles and organs in each center of the body.
ľHow to connect and direct the flow of energy through your body using bandhas and breath.
ľClient tracking and business techniques that follow the eight limb path of yoga.
ľMotivation, Coaching and personal training techniques to provide individualized programs and quality private instruction.

Director Bio:
Joy Ravelli is a certified A.C.E. and AFFA personal trainer. She is also a certified professional Pilates Instructor by Physical Mind, Yoga Teacher certification from Frog Pond Yoga, and nutritionist. Joy has been leading health, fitness, and wellness programs throughout Massachusetts for over 15 years.
