Our educational center's mission is to empower people to trust the wisdom and the cycles of the plants, the earth, and their own bodies.

Corinna Wood, director of Red Moon Herbs, has opened the hearts of thousands to the wisdom of the plants and their own bodies. Corinna’s background includes an extensive apprenticeship with Susun Weed in 1993 as well as a B.S. in Biology. Corinna is certified as an herbalist, a fertility awareness teacher, and also in permaculture design. Corinna lives with her family at Earthaven Ecovillage, an intentional community in Black Mountain, NC.

The common plants which grow where we live are regarded as abundant "weeds";however they are often our strongest herbal allies. We can harvest them at their peak potency and make medicine from them while they are still fresh. You will also receive the healing of working directly with the plants yourself if you learn to identify,harvest, and prepare some of these common wild plants as food and medicine.
