Sevananda is one of the Southeast's largest consumer-owned cooperatives. For 30 years, Sevananda has provided the Atlanta area with high quality natural and organic foods. Located in the heart of Little 5 Points, Sevananda offers the finest selection of bulk herbs and spices, organic produce, natural foods groceries, and vitamins and supplements. Our deli serves fresh and nutritious baked goods, soups, sandwiches and salads. We offer ongoing health, cooking and nutrition classes and a variety of information brochures on healthy living.

Sevananda was formed in 1974. Sevananda is Sanskrit for "Service is Bliss". Each year, we have been awarded a Best Of Atlanta award from Creative Loafing Magazine for our natural food and herb selection.

Sevananda's mission is to empower the community to improve its health and well-being. We accomplish this mission through: facilitating the democratic participation of our membership; providing natural and organic foods, and other environmentally sound products, to the Atlanta area and beyond; providing education on cooperative principles, personal health, environmental conservation and consumer issues; establishing beneficial relationships with the local community and the global cooperative movement.

Sevananda is open 7 days a week from 9 am - 10pm.

Join by purchasing a $120 Member/Owner share ($20/year for 6 years), which allows you to enjoy member benefits and share patronage refund if the co-op makes a profit. The equity in your member owner share is yours and may be sold back to the co-op
along guidelines provided.
