Deborah Voluck, M.Ed., M.F.T.
Description
My intention in my work is to encompass the spiritual aspect of change and growth while also addressing psychological aspects. I know that to achieve inner peace and psychological well-being, we must address and heal all aspects of ourselves.Although I specialize in addiction and codependency, my work is the facilitation of recognizing and understanding what psycho-spiritual parts of ourselves need healing and to support that process of healing in the individuals, couples and groups with whom I work.
Profile and Credentials
I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 13 years specializing in healing from addiction and codependency through spirituality. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and a second Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been a spiritual student for most of my life. I am familiar with the teachings of Gary Zukav, Vernon Howard, Guy Finley, Neale Donald Walsch, Iyanla VanZant, Edgar Cayce and several others. My work is to help others to achieve spiritual and psychological peace and well-being through the practice of spiritually based psychotherapy.
Philosophy and Comments
I believe we all have the capacity to change and grow. I believe that we each need to consciously take responsibility for that change and growth and become part of the process instead of merely reacting to the process. In order to change and grow, we must be willing to look at all parts of ourselves, especially those parts which need healing. My work is to faciliate and support this process in others.
