Description

Usui Reiki Ryoho is a system of relaxation from Japan that works to relieve tension and bring balance to Mind, Body and Spirit. It is most commonly applied with a light touch of the practitioner’s hands. A healing session covers all the major organs and energy centers of the body, stimulating the free flow of energy throughout the entire system. Reiki affects the subtle energy of matter known as “Ki” or Chi” inducing a positive emotional, mental and physical response. The same energy treatment can be sent at a distance to anywhere in the world.

Profile and Credentials

Shannon Marie Svensson is a certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher of the Usui Shiki Ryoho and founder of Circle Green Healing Arts. She has knowledge and experience in a variety of healing traditions which incorporate their wisdom when intuition finds it useful. Aromatherapy, crystal singing bowls, Chakra meditation, creative visualization and multicultural shamanic practices are areas of special interest for Shannon. While it is true that the tradition of Usui Reiki Ryoho comes from Japan, its energy and ideals are universal. Dr Usui shared his discoveries with the intention that Reiki benefit the whole world. For me Reiki has been an extraordinary instrument of healing in my life. Whatever Reiki touches becomes infused with the positive creative power. Sharing Usui Reiki Ryoho with others is a sacred loving gift that fills my heart with joy and gives my hands a happy and prosperous occupation. A little known secret of Reiki is that it fills both the “healer” and the “healed” with its revitalizing force. Giving miraculously becomes receiving with the gift of Reiki. I often feel it’s a miracle in itself that sharing the healing touch of love is my actual day-job!
