Description

My goal is to assist individuals in addressing challenging mind-body-spirit issues from a holistic approach to treatment. I work from a body centered psychotherapeutic framework while incorporating developmental, relational and cogntive-behavioral approaches to create change. I offer individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders, relational disorders, emotional dysregulation, body image/eating disorders, trauma and chemical dependency.

Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor state of Illinois

Graduate Laban Certified Movement Analyst

Stacey has been practicing dance/movement therapy since 1995. She is a part time faculty member of Columbia College Chicago's dance/movement therapy and counseling department and coordinates the Graduate Laban Certificate in Movement Analysis Program. She is an Allied Professional Staff at Linden Oaks Hospital and has a private practice at Clarus Center in Warrenville, Illinois. Additionally she is on the board of directors for the American Dance Therapy Association. Current interests include research on spatial movement and it's affects on the neurology of the brain.

Wednesdays 9:00am to 10:00pm

Thursdays 9:30am-10:00pm
