I provide in-depth, interactive, here-and-now oriented psychotherapy, counseling, and dream analysis for people suffering from troubling chronic emotional and/or behavioral patterns, depression, early emotional trauma, grief and loss, sexuality issues, eating disorders - bulimia and compulsive over-eating, overwhelming fear, anxiety and panic attacks, low self esteem, addictions, life changes, and relationship problems. I also specifically work with women's issues and those wanting to focus of personal transformation and growth.

I work with adult individuals and couples. I also offer supervision for beginning psychotherapists or those interested in working within the object relations model.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Washington. I have fourteen years experience in private practice treating adult individuals and couples.

My approach prioritizes insight and personal responsibility through compassion and respect. You can’t change what you don’t understand, including your own behavior, thoughts and feelings. Are you caught in a vicious cycle where your way of coping has taken on a life of its own, making things worse?

It's human to get caught in vicious cycles. It's also human to need help from someone who comes to know you well, has experience and expertise to guide you towards more constructive ways of being with yourself, others, and situations in your life.

Emotional and mental pain is very troubling and difficult to live with. Feeling continually angry, deeply sad, hurt, depressed, agitated, exhausted, afraid, or caught in destructive patterns without any hope is awful. If you can put in the time and effort, change is possible.

I see patients Monday through Friday.

My fee is $90.00 for a fifty minute session.

For patients interested in coming multiple times per week and are unable to financially support the $90.00 per session fee, I am willing to discuss a fee that might work for both of us.
